Nokia 6.1 Plus goes on sale today: Offers, price, and specifications

HMD Global’s first Nokia phone with a notch display will go on sale today in India. Nokia 6.1 Plus priced at Rs 15,999 has been available for pre-booking on Nokia’s e-store and e-commerce site, Flipkart. The sale is scheduled to begin at 12:00pm via both the platforms.

There is only one variant of Nokia 6.1 Plus launched in India. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage which can be further expanded up to 400GB via a microSD card. The smartphone also comes in only black colour.

There are a few offers lined up for the first sale of Nokia 6.1 Plus. Airtel users can avail extra Rs 1,800 cashback and 240GB of data on recharge plans of 199, 249, and 448 per month. There are no cost EMI options on the Nokia 6.1 Plus as well. On Flipkart, buyers can exchange their old phones and get up to Rs 15,000 discount. The smartphone is also valid for Flipkart’s BuyBack guarantee scheme at Rs 7,000.

Nokia 6.1 Plus specifications, features
Nokia 6.1 Plus features a full HD 5.8-inch with an aspect ratio of 19:9 layered with Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 processor, and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.

In the photography department, Nokia 6.1 Plus sports dual cameras featuring a 16-megapixel sensor with autofocus, f/2.0 aperture with a pixel size of 2 micron, and a 5-megapixel fast focus, f/2.4 aperture and 1.12 micron pixel size on the back. For selfies, there’s a 16-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Connectivity options on the smartphone include dual-SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C support. Nokia 6.1 is fuelled by a 3,060mAh battery.
